POM Wonderful's mission is to introduce and supply consumers with the highest quality and best tasting pomegranates and pomegranate food products.

Where did the name POM Wonderful come from?

POM Wonderful refers to the specific variety of pomegranate that we grow, the Wonderful variety. It also refers to how our consumers feel after consuming our products!

Where is POM Wonderful headquartered?

Los Angeles, California is our corporate headquarters. We grow all of our pomegranates in California's San Joaquin Valley.

Is POM Wonderful publicly traded?

POM Wonderful is a privately-held company and has no plans to go public at any time in the future.

Are tours of the POM Wonderful orchards and juice facilities available to the public?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer tours of our orchards. However, by trying our fresh pomegranates or our POM Wonderful pomegranate juice, you too can experience the wholesome bounty of our farms.

Where are the POM Wonderful orchards located?

The POM Wonderful orchards are all located in the state of California in the United States. The fruit flourishes in the warm climatic conditions of the San Joaquin Valley.

Where can I buy POM Wonderful pomegranates?

Fresh POM Wonderful pomegranates are widely available in supermarkets and grocery stores throughout the United States, Canada and parts of Europe, Asia and Australia from October through January. Look for pomegranates proudly bearing a "POM Wonderful" sticker!

Can I buy the fresh pomegranates directly from the company or online?

Unfortunately, we do not sell fresh pomegranates directly or online at this time, however, the fruit is widely available in supermarkets throughout the country from October through January.

Why can't I find fresh pomegranates in the stores?

The pomegranate season is from October through January each year. Outside of these months, the fruit's health benefits and great taste can be enjoyed by drinking POM Wonderful pomegranate juice. This is available year-round and is sold in a distinctive bottle that resembles pomegranates stacked one on top of the other.

Yes, the juice can be purchased year-round in your local supermarket. Remember to look for POM Wonderful pomegranate juice in the refrigerated section. It is often near or in the fresh produce department.

How much POM Wonderful pomegranate juice should I drink daily?

A standard serving of pomegranate juice is 237 ml. or 1 glass per day. But you can drink as much as you like and POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice can be enjoyed with meals or as a treat by itself.

When should I drink POM Wonderful pomegranate juice?

POM Wonderful pomegranate juice can be enjoyed at any time of the day or night. Many people like to drink it in the evenings as they relax, others drink it in the mornings in their morning smoothies or instead of other juices. A quick poll of employees at POM Wonderful shows that our favorite time to enjoy a glass of POM Wonderful pomegranate juice is either after exercise or after a long day at work. It's also a great mixer in cocktails.

Why is POM Wonderful juice pasteurized?

In order to ensure that you are consuming a safe and healthy beverage, POM Wonderful flash-pasteurizes all its flavors of pomegranate juice. Flash-pasteurization is a process that involves a short period of heating to ensure the elimination of any bacteria. Your safety is our highest priority. Flash-pasteurization also involves a period of rapid cooling in order to retain flavor and nutrients. Flash-pasteurization does not reduce the healthy antioxidants that are found in POM Wonderful pomegranate juice.

Is POM Wonderful pomegranate juice flash-pasteurized?

Yes, POM Wonderful pomegranate juice is flash-pasteurized in order to offer you a delicious, nutritious and safe product.

Is POM Wonderful pomegranate juice good for children?

Yes, in fact most children love the taste. People of all ages can enjoy POM Wonderful pomegranate juice.

Why does POM Wonderful juice need to be refrigerated?

Refrigeration ensures that the freshness, quality and integrity of POM Wonderful pomegranate juice are maintained at all times.Refrigeration allows consumers to experience the best tasting and healthiest pomegranate juice that has ever been produced.

No, our juices are not organic; however all of our products have all-natural ingredients and contain no artificial additives.

Yes. Look for the kosher symbol (ou) on the bottles.

Why is POM Wonderful pomegranate juice made from concentrate?

In order to offer the highest quality pomegranate juice year-round, POM Wonderful is bottled from concentrate. Although pomegranates are a seasonal fruit, and only available from October through January each year, this method allows us to provide the health benefits and great taste of pomegranate juice without interruption, 365 days a year!

Does POM Wonderful pomegranate juice really have more antioxidants than red wine, blueberry juice, green tea and other beverages?

Yes, based on scientific testing, POM Wonderful has higher levels of polyphenol antioxidants, which can neutralise harmful free radicals.

What are polyphenol antioxidants?

Pomegranates and pomegranate juice contain high levels of polyphenols. Polyphenols are known to be natural antioxidants and an important part of a balanced diet. There are thousands of different polyphenols in the plant world. Plants contain thousands of different kinds of compounds that are grouped into families. Polyphenols are one such family. Many polyphenols are active in the body, providing benefits such as antioxidant activity. This antioxidant activity is directly related to their chemical structure so not all antioxidants are created equal. Tannins (particularly punicalagin), anthocyanins, ellagic acid and gallic acid are all types of polyphenols that are found in pomegranates and pomegranate juice.

I have allergies? how do I know POM Wonderful juice does not contain anything that I am allergic to?

POM Wonderful pomegranate juice does not contain any of the substances that the FDA attributes to 90% of all allergic reactions. The 8 major allergens are soy, wheat, eggs, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and crustaceans. If you have allergies and would like to be assured that there is nothing in POM Wonderful pomegranate juice that you are allergic to, please read the ingredients on the back of the bottle or refer to the nutritional panels on our website.

I purchased a bottle of POM Wonderful juice but didn't refrigerate it, should I drink it?

Since POM Wonderful pomegranate juice is a refrigerated product, treat it as you would fresh milk or fresh orange juice! POM Wonderful pomegranate juice must remain refrigerated at all times.

How long can I keep POM Wonderful juice once I buy it?

POM Wonderful guarantees the freshness and nutritional content of POM Wonderful juices through the "enjoy by" date on the bottle cap. The juice should be refrigerated at all times.

How long can I keep POM Wonderful juice once I have opened it?

Prior to opening, POM Wonderful pomegranate juice must be kept refrigerated. Once POM Wonderful pomegranate juice has been opened, it should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 2 weeks.

POM Wonderful pomegranate juice is perishable. POM Wonderful pomegranate juice has been extensively tested to determine the length of time that it retains its flavor and nutrient properties.
